abstract
abstract in this research, four meteorological set of data including maximum temperature, minimum temperature, precipitation and radiation from echo-g, under a1scenario have been used for climate change detection over south khorasan. echo-g is a general circulation model that currently is used in hamburg university and korea meteorological research institute. in this research climate change assessment has been studied for the period of 2010-2039. analysis of downscaled meteorological parameters by lars-wg model over six meteorological stations of south khorasan have been performed. the results showed that annual mean of precipitation will increase by 4 percent. annual mean temperature are projected to increase by 0.3 °c, with maximum temperature increase of 1°c in winters. our results revealed that the number of dry days in northern stations including boshruyeh, ferdous and ghayen will increase in comparison to the their normal values but it will decrease in the southern stations of birjand, khor and nehbandan.

climate change assessment in khorasan-e razavi province from 2010 to 2039 using statistical downscaling of gcm output
because of low spatial resolution and simplifications in meteorological processes in global circulation models, they cannot sufficiently simulate the weather, comparing to the regional models; then, spatial and temporal downscaling of the gcm outputs are needed for decreasing errors of the global circulation models. there are two methods of downscaling: statistical and dynamic. weather generato...
full textclimate change assessment over iran during future decades, using statistical downscaling of echo-g model
in spite of considerable increase in the resolution of general circulation and regional models, none of these models are capable to predict and downscale the meteorological outputs in the scale of meteorological station.in this regard, different dynamical and statistical models have been developed for downscaling outputs of gcms. in this paper, grided meteorological outputs of general circulati...
full textprediction of drought in the khorasan razavi province during 2011-2030 by using statistical downscaling of hadcm3 model output
introduction because of the vital role of water in human life, examining the phenomenon of climate change effects on drought severity and frequency is important for any area of interest. nowadays, climate researchers considers the effects of climate change and climate simulations by using the atmospheric-ocean general circulation models. to achieve the prediction of climatologically parameters,...

Two statistical downscaling models, the non-homogeneous hidden Markov model (NHMM) and the Statistical Down–Scaling Model (SDSM) were used to generate future scenarios of both mean and extremes in the Tarim River basin, which were based on nine combined scenarios including three general circulation models (GCMs) (CSIRO30, ECHAM5,and GFDL21) predictor sets and three special report on emission sce...
full textPrediction of Rainfall under HadCM3 and CanESM2 Climate Change Models using Statistical Downscaling Model (Case Study: Tabriz Synoptic Station)
Global climate change as a main factor affecting all ecological components, has been attended by researchers all over the world in the recent years. In this regard for simulating the rainfall, National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) data, HadCM3 data under A2 and B2 scenarios, CanESM2 data under RCP2.6, RCP4.5 and RCP8.5 scenarios were utilized. This research was performed by adopt...
full textPrediction of Climate Change in Western of Iran using Downscaling of HadCM3 Model under Different Scenarios
Abstract Considering that water resources are at risk from climate change, the study of temperature and precipitation changes in the coming years can lead to droughts such as droughts, sudden floods, high evaporation and environmental degradation. To this end, global climate models (GCMs) are designed to assess climate change. The outputs of these models have low spatial accuracy. In order ...
